4 more days. only 4 more days. after 4 days, school is out. and i'm officialy a senior. at this time most people feel like they are on top of the world and ready to take on any task. in a way, i feel like that, but right now im just disappointed. my english, physics, and precal grade will all be lower than normal this six weeks. i realize that at this point in my high school career 14 gpa points instead of 15 points from a class, honestly makes no difference. i may move up or down a couple of spots in my ranking, but who cares? as long as i stay in the top 5 percent, i will be content. the colleges and scholarships i apply to probably wont care about whether im number 28 or number 35. therefore, i feel on top of the world. my lower grades aren't that important and wont make much of a difference in the long run.
im a senior in 4 days! senior year will be full of memorable times, but also tons of studying and hard work. im ready to take on anything that senior year throws my way. im ready to start those applications and write those essays. i will enjoy every moment of my senior year and find the good in every situation. oh! last week i was sent a letter saying that i made homecoming court for my senior year. this was the moment that i felt on top of the world. its such an honor and privilege to be on homecoming court. it makes me so happy that i have made an impact on people that they would vote for me. im ready to have more moments where i feel on top of the world. bring it on :)

ready.
hey everybody. this is my first time to blog and i have no idea what to do, so im just going to ramble. ok? great.
right now, i am in the midst of tons of projects and just really needed to vent about all of this work. what better way to complain? lets just begin with a list of all the stuff thats due this week.
great gatsby packet, great gatsby dialectal journals, precal test, great gatsby test, physics online homework, physics major test, history project, precal take home test.
there are 8 days of school left and all of the teachers decide to swamp me with tons of assignments that really arent easy or fun. i dont think its fair. i know... "life isnt fair" "you get what you get, dont pitch a fit" blah blah blah. i am just really stressed out because of all these projects and i just really dont want to do them because theyre so stupid.
yay! done complaining... for now.
its the very very very end of my junior year and i am so close to becoming a senior. this is where my blog title comes into play... ready. im ready to finish my junior year. im ready to become a senior. im ready for church camp. im ready to volunteer at the hospital this summer. im ready for summer in general. im just ready.
weirdly enough, the thing im most ready about is filling out my college application. if you know me at all, you know that baylor university is my future. i love baylor with all my heart and it is my destiny. when i say its my destiny, i dont mean... "my parents went there so im bound to go there". i mean that i made the decision myself and i am completely certain that it is a perfect fit for me. you better believe that the very day that that baylor application comes out, i will start it. (mid-july by the way). im ready for many things, but im mainly ready for college. dont get me wrong, im still going to enjoy my senior year to the fullest.
alright, well im off to complete all of these ridiculous, overwhelming projects. (see, i told you i was going to complain again.)
see you later.
